After graduating from York, Sean was selected in the third round of the 1989 Canadian Football League (CFL) draft by the Ottawa Rough Riders and spent 6 seasons in the league as a free safety winning the Grey Cup in 1984 with the B.C. Lions football team.

Sean is married to York Hall of Fame and athlete of the year France Gareau (track and field).
Has 2 boys -Jean-Luc Foudy (14 years old) a multi sport athlete currently playing AAA hockey with the Toronto Titans; and Liam Foudy who was drafted 18th overall in the first round by the London Knights in the OHL draft. |
