Most Memorable York University Experience I honestly couldn't pick one...you would think it might be one of the many field hockey and indoor hockey championships or games that we won over the years, but honestly I truly miss the day-to-day of being a varsity student athlete. The emotional connection to York and high performance sport is what I remember so fondly and the day-to-day ups and downs of being a student athlete is what I miss the most.
Highlight(s) of Professional Career It would have been coming back to work in Sport at York in 1999. Although very successful and happy in previous positions, it truly was both humbling, challenging and ultimately so rewarding to come back to being a part of the day-to-day of high performance sport at York.
Watching our athletes succeed on the field of play has been tremendous, but it has been even more rewarding to see the change in the culture of our varsity program, their success academically and the personal growth of various student athletes - it has been wonderful to be a part of it.
